Check out www.nps.gov/yose for info on getting to Yosemite by car or air, plus lots of other good info about the park in general.

Everyone in California can come by car. If you're coming from out of state, the nearest airports are Fresno and Merced, but they're pretty small. You may find better prices and availability on flights to Bay Area airports (San Jose, San Francisco, or Oakland). From there you can either rent a car or hitch a ride in with friends.

Please note there's a $20 per car entrance fee for Yosemite -- sounds pricey but actually quite a steal for access to bazillions of acres of gorgeous scenery. If you carpool it'll only be like $5 a person. :)
