Chicken pox, terrorists, and snow!

YIKES!!
Last week a kid showed up in the office at Dave's school with red spots, and word on the street was that chicken pox was spending through the kid's classroom. Having never had chicken pox (!!) Dave barricaded himself in the office and tried not to get infected. All manner of scary thoughts went through my head -- thanks to the chicken pox outbreak, we would have to to cancel the wedding and the honeymoon, and Dave would get chicken pox at age 31, leading to major illness, shingles, and infertility! It didn't help that Dave started finding little red dots on his body last night.

Well... it turns out the kids weren't attacked by chicken pox, just rabid fleas! Whew! The school was given the "all clear" this morning -- at least for now.

In other news... this is why we have trouble in airports. Check out my fiance the terrorist. http://www.nzherald.co.nz/section/2/story.cfm?c_id=2&objectid=10431018

And finally... there's SNOW in the weather forecast for Yosemite tomorrow, after many 85-degree days earlier this month! Our ceremony is outdoors, so be prepared to dress for anything from 30 to 80 degrees! If it rains, we'll move inside, but snow or sun we'll be out in nature! :) After that we'll be indoors, all warm and cozy, for the reception.

12 days and counting (according to the 12 beautiful long stem red roses Dave sent to me at work today!!)
Love,
Jen
